Review by Rock Over America

Tracii Guns rolled through Las Vegas tonight with his version of L.A. Guns. The band made a pit stop at Count’s Vamp’d. You can’t go wrong with a night of L.A. Guns music. This time Tracii was without Marty Casey on vocals, but he did have Vegas’ own Jizzy Pearl. You may know Jizzy from Love/Hate. Jizzy also sang on L.A. Guns’ ‘Shrinking Violet CD’ in 1999 and with Ratt from 2000-2006.

On bass is Jeremy Carson who is also referred to as Jeremy Guns. Jeremy has been playing with Tracii since 2005 when he was added to the touring lineup of Brides Of Destruction.

The drummer is Doni Gray who hit that kit like he’s been playing with Tracii for twenty years. Doni didn’t miss a beat. If you want to hear more from Doni pickup a CD by Burning Tree.

Last, but definitely not least, is Tracii Guns on guitar doing what he was born to do. Tracii plays with such passion he is amazing to watch. Tracii hit the rock scene in 1983 and hasn’t stopped. He has played with some
awesome musicians like Axl Rose, Steve Riley, Gilby Clarke and Nikki Sixx to mention a few.

The band played all the fan favorites and then some. We heard L.A. Guns play their own smash hits like “Sex Action”, “Never Enough”, and “Ballad Of Jayne”. Jizzy and the guys gave us a little taste of Love/Hate with “Black Out In The Red Room” and a Rolling Stones song “Paint It Black”. It was a great night of rock n roll.

A special thank you and much love to Tracii Guns for always being so wonderful to me……………Kimberley Dee
